    Review: "ANTIQUUS SCRIPTUM belong to the rare selection of bands which are recognizable immediately. Mainly because of the distinctive clear vocals, but also because of the rousing songwriting. The basic style is groovy and catchy, but also full of nice details and unique sounds. This special symphonic thrash death whatsoever mixture leaves me always back in very good temper. A quite strange effect of metal like this, but a nice one. :-) If you are looking for something really peculiar, check it! Favorite track: A Moment Of Clarity."

. No final do século XIV, a Europa encontrava-se a braços com uma época de crise e revolução. A Guerra dos Cem Anos devastava a França, epidemias de peste negra ceifavam vidas em todo o continente, a instabilidade política dominava e Portugal não era excepção, numa época em que reinava a sede de poder, a fome, a guerra... Por entre hecatombe das trevas medievais...

... Em Junho de 1385, D. João I de Castela decide invadir Portugal, desta vez à frente da totalidade do seu exército e auxiliado por um forte contingente de cavalaria francesa. Inglaterra une-se a Portugal fazendo frente à França, e adivinha-se uma das mais estrondosas e improváveis batalhas de toda a Idade Média... A Batalha de Aljubarrota...

Ficando para a história a bravura de Portugal em magnificência
