“A Black Spell From The Past”, are originally the advanced tracks from September 1997, here in demo versions, from FIRSTBORN EVIL, roughly, a year before the release of the 1st full-length album, “Rebirth Of Evil”, from 1998.

The bass player at these times, in the band, was Sacerdos Magus, from ANTIQUUS SCRIPTUM, here yet as “Iblis”, but he’s not present on this recording, only in the live theme from 1996, he is. The themes “A Quest For Vengeance” & “Throne Of The Serpent”, are still instrumental, yet, on this version, Glaurung hadn't written the lyrics for these 2 songs, yet...
