Remember Me As King

about

"Remember Me As King"

Embracing now my old age, I am weak...
Transitory life, ephemeral throne.
Defences are build in what we seek,
in fields of pain, I die alone...
... Proclame myself a king, I am a god!
A scarecrow of flesh, fundament of reason.
I am eternal, permanent in thoughts,
my seeds have birth in every season.

Functionalism of the world, a giant machine.
I miss a keyword for my salvation.
My kingdom’s lost, was all in vain?
A secret mysterious of my creation.
Is you who know me, who knows my truth...
Is you who scorn me when I own the key.
If now my crown is made of thorns,
As I write the words for immortality...

“... Just another Black Metal...”

My kingdom stands before the black forest
where the great pale wolves howl loud at night.
I rule amongst the hate, power and greed
a neverending war that grows inside.

In a vortex plague, a gift of the gods
certain is my doom in this realm of death.
I fight with strength in the battlefield
shameful dishonour’s what I regret... What I regret...

When the forthcoming times come as days
and the thread of memories remain in your thoughts,
remember me as king, as an immortal being
and whisper my name as long as you speak to your gods.

... Remember me!...
(Nos semper edimus alienum cibum)
I am eternal... I am perpetual...
(Doctrina oratori utilis est)
... Titans of time kneel down for me!
(Fuit eius triumphus magnificentissimus)
I brought the fire... I brought wisdom...
(Nimis gloriosus est!)
... Written in the pages of history...

... My story...

Approach my love, life is a whiff
a paradox of thoughts, ambiguous lines.
This carnal death that makes me weak
Is not the point of my decline.
Spread now my word, I die in peace
choose your own path, away from fear.
If now I’m through an eternal sleep
behold my funeral, don’t shed a tear... Don’t shed a tear...
